Vinfolio Partnership

My partnership with Vinfolio

I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce a partnership started in 2004 between Burghound.com and Vinfolio. Vinfolio® (www.vinfolio.com) is a San Francisco-based company that sells fine wine and services to wine collectors and enthusiasts. Vinfolio offers an unmatched selection of fine wines, free VinCellar™ online cellar management software and a broad range of collector services (including on-site inventorying and full-service storage).

As part of my partnership with Vinfolio, Burghound reviews are available online in a searchable format through both Vinfolio's online store and VinCellar.

Vinfolio makes it simple to find the wine you like by giving users the ability to search all wines by price, region, varietal and reviewer then sort searches by year, score, price and availability (in stock or prearrival). For wines not available in the store, users can request a quote at no cost and no obligation to purchase.

Using Vinfolio's free online cellar management software, VinCellar™, you'll be able to manage your wine collection and access Burghound content simultaneously - which means all of my reviews, scores, producer notes, and drink dates can be viewed within the context of your personal collection.

Note: you must be both a current Burghound subscriber and have a registered Vinfolio account to access the complete text of my reviews within VinCellar.

Learn more about Vinfolio and the Burghound/Vinfolio integration (and set up your VinCellar account) by visiting their Website.

In addition to cellar management and collector services, Vinfolio publishes the Wine Price File, a semiannual compilation of wine auction results from auctions conducted over the past eight years (including Christie's, Sotheby's, Zachy's and Acker Merrall).

This is a fantastic tool for determining current market values of fine collectible wine and should be used by anyone buying wine at auctions or valuing their own collections for selling, insurance or estate planning purchases!

The print edition is available for $49.95 per copy or $79.95 for an annual two-issue subscription (plus shipping and handling). Click here to order.

Note: VinCellar includes the entire contents of the Wine Price File, updated as auctions occur, with the addition of individual lot details.
